Detox (detoxification, rehab)
Depending on your personal situation on arrival, a detox may be required before you can fully participate in the treatment program. We strive to keep this period as short as possible so that you get maximum benefit from your time spent with us. The duration of a detox varies from three to four days, depending on the degree, duration and means of consumption to date. Thanks to our specialist knowledge and experience, a detox will in most cases take place without major withdrawal symptoms. You are in good hands. You will find the serene tranquility on our location very helpful in this respect.
Balance
The serenity of our clinic environment, the empathetic warm approach of our therapists and a balanced diet (with supplements) will quickly bring you back into a good mental balance to participate in our therapeutic treatment process. After 21 or 28 days you are socially employable again. We do recommend following an additional aftercare program in our clinic.
How does a detox work?
Immediately upon admission, our clients have a very extensive intake interview with our addiction doctor and psychotherapist. Our addiction doctor will stay in your immediate vicinity during your entire withdrawal period and provide medical support. We offer you a 'soft' withdrawal process by means of Neuro Electrical Stimulation (NES). With this methodology, we stimulate a variety of your body's own substances. Endorphins with an analgesic function, Dopamine which motivates positively and Serotonin, which makes you calm and happy. As a result, the use of medication is kept to a minimum. The serene tranquility of our clinic environment, the empathetic warm approach of our therapists and a balanced diet (with supplements) quickly restore good mental balance, allowing you to soon participate in our therapeutic treatment process. After 21 or 28 days, social integration and re-deployment at work will again be possible. We do advise you to follow up with our additional aftercare program, both in house and provided by our experts in your locality.
Extra therapy during detox
In our infrared sauna you can flush out many toxins through intensive sweating, resulting in a more effective detox of shorter overall duration. The relaxing effect of a sauna session, provided on an individual basis, will also support the detox.
