Painkillers Addiction

The increasing problem of dependence on painkillers is making headlines everywhere.

There are two types of painkillers:

Peripheral painkillers such as paracetamol, ibuprofen aspirins.

If taken too often or in excessive doses, these can cause recurring headaches, causing the person to take even more, ending up in a vicious circle. This can result in organ damage, in the worst case even kidney failure.

Opiates such as Tramadol, Oxycodone, Morphine, Fentanyl, and Methadone.

These medications are often prescribed for severe pain. Any type of such painkillers should be taken, at most, only ten times a month; otherwise, there is a very high risk of dependence. These products have an extremely high addiction potential, both psychologically and physically. When you suddenly stop or try to taper off on your own, serious psychological or physical withdrawal symptoms can occur.

Rehab of painkillers.

No method is as effective as the application of Neuro Electro Stimulation (NES). Den Rooy Clinics distinguishes itself with this method. Depending on the amount and duration of ingestion, the withdrawal phase can last from four to eight days, and generally proceeds without complications or undue distress. Subsequent therapy during your stay is necessary to bolster relapse prevention.
