Karin worked for many years as a manager in the retail sector. When the company she had worked for for almost 25 years was closed, she decided to take a nursing course because of her dedication to helping people.
About Karin
It gave me great satisfaction to be able to do more for people in need in a positive and caring way. After working for a number of years in a care institution for people with NAH (non-congenital brain injury), I ended up at Den Rooy Clinics.
I can really enjoy nature by taking a walk in the beautiful wooded area of Den Rooy Clinics.
I think it is important that from the perspective of holistic care, people are seen as a whole, both physically, mentally and socially. The best thing I have experienced so far is the contact you get with the clients and how they grow/change during the weeks of their stay.
