In particular, MBRT - Mindfulness Based Relapse Therapy, is a specially developed resource that Den Rooy Clinics will use with all clients, several times a week. MBRT is particularly focused on preventing relapse into destructive behavior and/or substance consumption. This therapy is innovative and very effective in the treatment of addiction, burnout, and depression. It focuses, in particular, on becoming aware of current thoughts and feelings, accepting them and experiencing life in the moment, from moment to moment. By living in the 'now' one stays away from the destructive and harmful behavior.
Mindfulness Yoga and Stress Reduction.
Both Mindfulness and Yoga contribute to the important development of the capacity to regulate stress. You will be able to maintain more control in risky situations. You will experience more feelings of happiness, and inner peace and serenity. At Den Rooy Clinics, each day begins with Yoga and/or Qi Gong, an ancient practice from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
